No You Did Not….

So about 2 weeks ago Ryan and I decided to take the plunge:) We decided that it was time for our family to get with the times. So we got a Wii!!!

The kids have been wanting a new game system for a while and I was starting to see that having an Original Xbox was no longer working for us like it did at one time. So Ryan took a Friday off work to go do all of the shopping for us. (We didn’t want to have to take the kids along for such a big purchase.)
He got home and set it all up with the help of our beautiful princess S all while C was still in school for the day. I don’t get to do to many surprises for my kiddos and we thought that this was such a huge thing, especially for our big guy that a surprise was just what we needed!!! Please enjoy the video of out Wii surprise, we do believe that our son lost his ability to think rationally for the first time in a long time!!

The old Cell Phone debate:)

So lately my 6 year old keeps mentioning that he wants a cell phone..(shocking right??) I’ve seen some of the other children his age carrying one around and I just can’t imagine.

So we come to the whole question.. At what age should a child be allowed to have a cell phone and should it be an expense you pay for?

SOOO.. after a long talk with hubby we decided that our children will not have a cell phone until the time comes that they can work to pay for the monthly bill. I guess I feel like it’s a luxury that they don’t need. So Mom’s and Dad’s what do you think? What’s your cell phone policy?
